Mr. Lowe-Rogstad goes to Washington

It’s no secret that we really like bikes. From our work on RideOregonRide.com to making any excuse to ride bikes to get doughnuts, we enjoy being on two wheels.

From March 9 – 11, David will be joining the Oregon contingent at the National Bike Summit in Washington, D.C. As part of the Oregon delegation, David will be participating in sessions and learning about the current state of bicycle legislation and advocacy, as well as helping promote Oregon’s leadership in bicycle-related tourism. And something about going for a riding/rocking/rubbing/palping/slaying some fixies with President Obama.

If you’re in D.C., make sure to find David and talk Colnagos (the easiest way to track him down is via Twitter). And if you’re not in D.C., you can follow BikePortland’s coverage of the 2010 National Bike Summit.

We’ll see you on the Hill.

Looking forward to hearing what he finds out. Are there any plans to disseminate the information he gets?
