Three years. Doesn’t seem that far back, yet worlds ago from today.
That’s the day we started Substance.
I don’t want to go into a long-winded review of the last three years and what we’ve accomplished… if you’re looking for that you can review what we’ve done and how and why we’ve done it (the quick summary is: some awesome stuff). Three years in, I’m reminded of why we started Substance: to change the world.
Recently I came across this quote from Hugh MacLeod’s book “Ignore Everybody“:
“The only people who can change the world are the people who want to.”
Glad to report we still want to. Happy 3rd anniversary, Substance.
(On a side note, WOO!!! THREE YEARS!)

Congratulations on three well earned years. You should all be very proud of the work you have done and the business you have built. I am consistently impressed with your work and am happy to report that I just saw bambu at a trade show this past weekend and they looked great.
I can still remember the night Dave called and told me he was going to start his own business and create something new. I told him, “NO!!!!” Fortunately, he never listens to me.
