A little less than three months ago, a group of people sat down, had a cup of coffee, and came up with an idea.
Two months ago, this idea had a name: the New Communicators.
And now we’re about a week away from this idea being put into action as a “three-day series of events intended to inspire and educate on new ways of communicating with people.” We’re beyond words at how generous people have been with their time, their knowledge, and their contribution through the organization of events, the offering of event space, and actively getting involved in the process of making the idea a reality. The range and depth of the programming to happen next week, all of which is free, is truly a dream come true and just one of the aspects that makes Portland a great place to live, work and create.
