In honor of recently launching RideOregonRide.com (more on this in the next few days, but the quick summary is it’s an “everything about cycling in Oregon” website we concepted, designed and developed with Travel Oregon), we thought it would be a fitting reward to get away from our computers for a bit and take a short bike ride. And based on the feedback from our last Rolling Coffee, we decided to change it up.
Here’s how we’ll roll: meet up at Substance World Headquarters (1551 SE Poplar) at 9am on Thursday August 13th. Ride your bike if you want to participate in the “rolling” part of Rolling Coffee. At about 9:15am, we’ll head out at a leisurely pace and make our way down to the Eastbank Esplanade, ride up to the Steel Bridge/Rose Garden ramps, ride along the bike lane on NE Lloyd, make a right on NE 12th, ride down to NE Davis, and end at Voodoo Doughnut Too, on the corner of NE Davis and NE 15th. If you’d like to meet us there, we should get there by 9:45 – 10am.
From there, it’s all about good doughnuts, hot coffee, and wherever the conversation takes us.
Rain or shine. C’mon, it’s Portland… there’s no bad weather, just poor clothing choices.
