Way back on a cool, rainy June day, we convinced some people that it would be a good idea to get on their bikes (or other modes of transportation) and head up to Voodoo Too for some Rolling Coffee action.
Now that we’re heading into the start of the Portland winter, we thought, “wouldn’t it be a good idea to get back on our bikes and go get some coffee and doughnuts?” So without further ado, announcing the Substance Pre-Holiday Rolling Coffee.
Here’s how it works: meet up at Substance World Headquarters (1551 SE Poplar) at 9am on Friday, December 19th. Bring your bike if you want to participate in the “rolling” part of Rolling Coffee. At about 9:15am, we’ll make our way north to Voodoo Doughnut Too, on the corner of NE Davis and NE 15th. If you’d like to meet us there, we should get there by 9:30am at the latest. (It’s only a one mile ride, and even I can ride a mile in less than 15 minutes.)
From there, it’s all about good doughnuts, hot coffee, and wherever the conversation takes us.
Rain (likely) or shine. C’mon, it’s Portland… there’s no bad weather, just poor clothing choices. And don’t say you weren’t warned ahead of time. This is directed specifically at you, Mr. Emery.
