It’s not about awards, but they are nice.

Substance picked up three awards at the first annual Webvisionary Awards event on Thursday, May 23, 2008. We were recognized for Oden or Durant (Advertising category), bambu (Business category) and Logobama (Viral category). “We don’t set out to win awards,” said Substance’s David Lowe-Rogstad. “Our goal is to do meaningful work for our clients. It means a lot to us, however, for the community to also see that we are doing great work.”

“These were three of the most heavily contested categories,” said Justin Garrity, who coordinated the event and the judging. “To win all three is pretty amazing.”

“It means a lot to us to be recognized for the work we’ve done over the last year,” Lowe-Rogstad added, “but we’re equally excited about what we’re working on now and what’s coming next. We’re blessed with great clients who share our beliefs and excitement about what digital can be, not what it is now. We would be doing them a disservice to not strive to do better.”
