Logobama, Week 6

Week 6 for Logobama.com hit a milestone: the 5,000th Logobama. In honor of this, we created a video… you can view it below:

(RSS readers can view it here)

Week 6 also brought in some traffic from Gawker.com as well as a few other new places. Several of them had comments along the lines of, “ha, someone put up a site where you can insert any photo in the Obama logo… how naive of the creators!”

Um, yeah. We never would have guessed people would put inappropriate photos in there.

What we find interesting is (a) when creation is anonymous, people upload photos that they would never want their parents, coworkers or children to ever see; and (b) either one person has a bunch of inappropriate photos in their library, or multiple people use the EXACT same photos. We were hoping at least for some variants in the inappropriate images, but apparently with immaturity comes lack of imagination. We’ve kept the appropriate anti-Obama ones in the Flickr gallery so everyone can have a voice. Comment if you like.

And now, on to the Week 6 stats. In amazing Google Doc chart format!
