Last year, the family and I took a trip to Swan Island Dahlias to check out the Annual Dahlia Festival. Of course I snapped a couple photos of the flowers and sent them to my friend Mo at Travel Oregon. Lo and behold, he’s using one of my pics for the Annual Dahlia Festival event on the Travel Oregon web site. (Thanks Mo for the photo credit!)
If you’ve never been to the Dahlia Festival, it’s worth the journey. And if you’re like us, you’ll probably purchase some to plant in your own yard (ours are looking beautiful thanks to my wife’s green thumb).
