Coffee Recap, July 27th

Lots of people out for coffee on Friday… I know I’ll never remember everyone’s name.

The conversations around me jumped from the biggest news in Portland – the opening of Ikea – to the timing challenges between blogs, newspaper columns, and books, to the drawbacks of traditional medical identification bracelets, to all sorts of other things.

Hope everyone else had a nice time and enjoyed their assorted beverages. I’m always reminded by these kinds of gatherings how small the Portland creative community is (ran into Amanda, who I’d worked with years ago on a project… she’d worked with Russell at Nike… Portland is like 2 degrees of separation at most).
